CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 09:00

Report from Eldey: Today we had a bit of more wind than expected. We got ourselves some hot chocolates, dressed up with overalls, buffs up to our noses and we were ready to go! We sailed out around the islands getting very close to the mountain of Esja, which was beautifully covered in snow. We saw many flocks of birds, with Eider ducks, some kittiwakes chasing each other for food and Northern fulmars gliding on our side, following us with the wind. In an area full of fish, according to our fish-finder, we encountered a grey seal, that started swimming and going down until we were not able to look at it anymore. We covered many areas, other companies as well, but we couldn't find anything. So we decided to give out complimentary tickets so the passengers could have a new chance of seeing cetaceans!
