Tour at 17:00

The wind was very little and the sea got very flat. The light was really amazing and we had a nice tour. We had a lot of minke whales some were really close to our boat: we counted at least 10 individuals during the all tour. We had the chance as well to spot a group of white-beaked dolphins and a humpback whale that twice approached our vessel less than 10 meters. It was really spectacular!

The wind picked up a bit this afternoon and it started drizzling but then luckily the weather improved by the time we reached the whale-watching ground. Still a lot of minke whales around (at least 10), and most of them were feeding close to or underneath flock of birds. The birdslife was really great in fact: a lot of ganntes, even more than ten in certain spots dropping down fast into the water... really spectacular! We had two groups of white-beaked dolphins: bith times the were breaching and one time we even saw two individuals jumping together!

Tour at 9:00

There was a good weather today: a sky was overcast, the wind wasn´t strong and there was a good visibility. We went sailing out in Faxafloi and we had three main sighitngs. The first time we encountered a group of minke whales, feeding close to a large flock to seabirds, then we spotted a group of 4 white-beaked dolphins. Some dolphins approached us and they were following us and bowriding. The last sighting was with another group of at least 4 minke whales and one of them showed the fluke out of the water while feeding!
