Tour at 13:00

We headed straight out to the area where we had the sightings this morning. When we got to the area we quickly spotted a Minke Whale. We probably spotted about 3-4 different individuals but they were very anti-social on this tour. Most likely they were travelling since they came up to the surface only once and then they appeared a lot further away making it very difficult for us to follow them. We also spotted few Harbour Porpoises and one of them even leaped out of the water allowing us to see the whole body.

Tour at 09:00

It was a bit foggy today and some drizzling but that didn't stop us from going out. We started the tour out by checking how the Puffins in Akurey were doing, one of two Puffin colonies here close to Reykjavík. There were so many of them there getting comfy on the Island before the breeding season. Then we headed out to check if we could find some Whales. After about 40 minutes we spotted a Minke Whale. It was only about 100 meters away from us. We were able to see it couple of times and then on the other side of the boat the Harbour Porpoises were surfacing. We spotted the Minke Whales few times, probably 3 different individuals and then we ended the tour by spotting White-beaked Dolphins. They were all around us and some of them even swam under the boat.
