Report from Eldey: The afternoon showed our passengers what real Icelandic weather could be like! During our three hour tour we got rain, sunshine, windy, almost no wind. The saying here in Iceland that if you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes was really true today! And with sun and rain comes rainbows. They were so strong in color reflecting in the ocean and for a moment we saw a doubble rainbow, really beautiful. After a long search we finally encountered one minke whale. This one was a little bit hard to keep track on with fast breath at the surface, long dives and changing direction all the time. We got some glimpse of the minke whale but since we know that we can show our passengers more and we were not sure everyone saw it on the boat we offered everyone complimentary ticket to come again in the next two years.

Report from Eldey: Southerly winds brought a bit of rain along with it today, showering on and off us throughout the tour. It was a little windy also but we wrapped up warm in the complimentary overalls, stayed inside the heated saloon and enjoyed the warm beverages that can be perchased at the onboard cafeteria. The mountains had a new layer of snow and as the morning became lighter it proved a nice tour. Unfortunately no whales or dolphins this morning so we offered our passengers complimentary tickets to come again for free in the next two years.
