CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00
Report from Eldey: This morning on beautiful calm seas we sailed out. The sun had just come up and 10 minutes into the tour we already found a humpback whale! It was Banana! This morning they were quite calm, coming up regularly close to the boat. We stayed here a bit and even managed to see a the fluke a few times. We then continued sailing into the bay a bit to see if we would find anymore cetaceans. After a little loop we returned in the direction of the harbour. We saw a second humpback come up for air but this one then did not re-appear. We then spotted Banana again in the distance. This time they had woken up a bit and was coming up much closer to the boat, with a lot of gusto and regularly showing the fluke! We stayed a little bit and then returned with the sunset. We also spotted a cheeky grey seal!
