CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 0900
Report from Eldey: We sailed out today on very calm seas and slighty grey skies. We headed towards the whalefjord, this is where we were having a lot of luck lately however it seemed the animals had moved so we ended up sailing out into the bay instead. We sailed out and after some time found a very elusive minke whale. This one did not really show itself so we tried to see it properly but eventually headed on. After a little bit longer we also saw 3 harbour porpoises, these too were on the elusive side and then we sadly ran out of time and had to head back. We of course want to show everyone the beauty of our bay so handed out complimentary tickets so that everyone could try their luck again!

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 1300
Report from Eldey: We set off this afternoon hoping for a bit more success than in the morning. To begin with the weather didn´t improve either, it was very rainy and misty. After about 2 hours, this started to clear up and at the same time our luck started to change too! In very quick succession we saw 2 minke whales. The first in particular was very good, surfacing lots very close to our boat. We then spotted a 3rd minke close by to a pod of 9 white beaked dolphins! This pod again came up lots meaning we all had a really good view of them.
