Tour at 13:00

Report from Hafsúlan: The weather was mostly very good today, at the start of the tour the sun was even shining! The sea was quite calm and when we sailed with the wind it was very relaxing. We sailed from Reykjavík past Viðey and toward Akranes, after that we headed offshore before eventually turning back to Reykjavík. The bird life was fairly quiet today, we had a number of Northern Gannets in the area and there was a lot of Shags also on the water. When we were not far from Reykjavík we had the good fortune of spotting a Harbour Seal 30m away from the boat, it floated around for a while before diving away. This is actually a rare sight in this bay, seals are not a common species here. Unfortunately we didn´t see any cetaceans on this tour so we gave our passengers complimentary tickets in the hopes they will try again another day.
