Tour at 13:00
We sailed out in a beautiful weather from Hafnarfjörður this afternoon. The guide was not finished with the introduction speech when he saw a blow from a whale, and yes it was our friend Mr. Square! Mr. Square is a humpback whale that has been in this area for some while. We followed Square almost the whole tour, seeing him coming up with his mouth open and the herring trying to escape! We saw the herring coming up to the surface few times, and it was amazing to see that and how the whale was feeding underneath. We also spotted few harbor porpoises on the way back home. Beautiful day!
