We are sailing out from Reykjavik Harbour today. The forecast predicts wind from the east and we can experience some swells.
Tour at 13:00
Report from Hafsúlan: It was much windier today than last two days but while we sailed out on the bay we traveled with the wind and then it felt warm in the sun. We went to the areas where we saw the minke yesterday. There is still a lot of birds life in the bay. The birds were clearly feeding and the northern gannets made splashes when they plunged themselves into the water. Even though there seemed to be life in the bay we never found any cetaceans. For that reason we offered our passengers complimentary tickets so they could come with us on another whale watching tour.

Birds seen on the tour: northern fulmars, glaucous gulls, iceland gulls, shags, cormorants, kittiwakes, great back backed gulls, eider ducks, common guillemots and northern gannets.
