CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 9:OO
Report from Eldey: Today we sailed with really good weather conditions and hopping too see a lot of whales since the day before they saw 8 of them. At the beginning a lot of birds followed us in to the sea with a very calm sea. After some time we spotted the first blows in the distance. When we got closer we saw our first Humpback whale, was quite elusive and difficult to track so we decided to try to find another one more entertaining. Eventually 3 Humpback Whales appeared and 1 of them even breached very close to the boat. Everyone was amazed looking at them but unfortunately we had to start to return to the harbour but in my opinion was not a best way to finish the tour.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00
Report from Eldey: We started the tour with a bit of a breeze but a sunny sky. We headed off the harbor to the bay and after some minutes we spotted around 7 white beaked dolphins very close to the boat. They were super elusive so we could not stop to see them as they were gone very quick. We continued with the tour and while looking for some activity we finally spot some blows in the distance. When we got closer we were able to see 5 humpback whales in the area. They were feeding as we could also see lots of birds flying and fishing around. After some time with them we decided to head back to Reykjavik and suddenly a huge humpback whale breached right in front of us!!! What a lovely performance!! We waited a bit to see if it wanted to do it again but it never did so we headed back to port
