Tour at 13:00 Report from Hafsúlan: We sailed out in beautiful weather once again. At first it was a little bit chilly but in some areas of the bay (where we were for example) it was almost mirror calm. blue skies with the clouds rolling in at the end and of course the snow capped mountains and fresh crisp air. Today was a White-beaked Dolphin Day. All in all we must of seen about 100 both very far away and close. There were 4-5 pods or families with maybe 5-15 in each that we paid particular attention too. Some pods were chasing fish, some pods were resting and some pods were socialising and included the boats in their socialising with bow-riding and swimming under and around the boats, sometimes they were even leaping out of the water. On a couple of occasions the dolphins were on the left, right, front and back which was perfect for everyone on board to see. All in all a very nice tour.
Birds seen on today´s tour include; Eider Ducks, Kittiwakes, Fulmars, Glaucous Gulls, Cormorants, Oystercatchers and Shags.
