Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 09:00 Classic Whale Watching tours. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

Report from Eldey: our tour this morning started by being quite rainy, with the strong and cold winds coming from the Southeast, telling us that summer is really coming to an end. However, this didn't put us down so we put on our overalls, raincoats and we were ready to go and spot any sign of life in the bay! Off we went, passing by a flock of Northern gannets, plunge diving indicating that we had food in the area. We explored many areas, with sharped eyes scanning the horizon, but unfortunately the animals appeared to be very far out in the bay today, so we decided to give out complimentary tickets to the passengers so they can come again and enjoy the Faxaflói bay in its full glory.
