Tour at 13.00

Report from Eldey: We sailed out fearing a little the bad luck that accompanied us in the morning tour. Well, there was nothing to fear since the white beaked dolphins were going to give us a hell of a ride! About one hour after the beginning of the tour we had our first encounter, a pod of 6-8 dolphins. Since among them were a few calves, they behaved a little elusive and quite soon we lost them. Nonetheless we resumed our travel just to find another pod. And when we approached we realized that, more than a single pod, we had different all around the bay. It was clear that they were feeding, judging by their behaviour and the one of the seabirds that were feeding on the same spot. At some point, the sea was literally covered by dolphins! I stopped counting when a reach the awesome number of 50. And to show their joy for the food they were even jumping out of the water now and then, first far and then almost 5 m away from the boat! At some point it was simply ridiculous. To end the amazing trip we had a beautiful snow storm that lasted until we reached the bay. A wonderful afternoon thanks to this amazing dolphins!

Tour at 09:00

Report from Eldey: A freezing start to the day with a little snow on the ground. Starting sailing out with everyone choosing to wear the warm overalls provided. Visibilty was reduced massively as snow fell throughout the trip, falling heavily upon the brave few who remained on the top deck in the bitter wind. Unfortunately we were unable to spot any wildlife this morning and complimentary tickets were issued.
