Status: RUNNING

We are sailing out from Reykjavik harbour today. The forecast predicts some wind from the south and we could experience some swells

Tour at 13:00

Report from Elding and Eldey: Due to high number of passengers we went on two boats today. This afternoon there was considerable wind coming from the north east and medium to high swells. The journey out was on the rougher side but once we reached Hvalfjörður we turned around and had the wind at our backs. This made for good searching conditions and we managed to search a large area of the bay when we split up and scanned separate areas. Unfortunately the whales were not cooperating today and despite our best efforts we were unable to find any whales except a momentary glimpse of two harbour porpoises. As compensation for our passengers we offered complimentary tickets to everyone and we hope to see all of them again on a better day!
