CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 09:00
Report from Hafsúlan: today we started our tour with very weak winds, that as soon as we spotted the whales, they started to begin to pick up. Totally worth it! Also, under light rain, it really didn't stayed on our way when spotting these animals. In an area full of Northern gannets, we first spotted a big blow in the distance. When we got closer to investigate, we realized we had a humpback whale in the area! In fact, not only one, but other 4 blows were getting our attention all around. Getting closer to the first blow, we found out not only 2, but 3 individuals together swimming side by side. They came very closer a few times, sometimes staying right underneath the surface for a long time, as we could follow them from the very big and white pectoral fins that we could easily see through the surface! Wow! They were coming to the surface simultaneously and we could also spot another blow in the same direction, but quite far away. We stayed a bit more with these whales before returning slowly to the harbour, but already very excited about the incredible sightings of these 3 whales close to us!

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00
Report from Elding: We sailed out to the bay with strong wind and few white caps but we were quite optimistic! We travelled to the same area were we spotted the whales during the morning tour with the hope of finding a blow! And after about half an hour of sailing we spotted our first humpback whale!! The whale resurfaced twice before arching their back and swimming down, we were expecting to wait a few minutes before returning to the surface but out of nowhere a beach!! After the first breach the whale slapped it's head in the water twice before going for a deeper dive! what an amazing moment!!! Then we heard the news of another whale in the area and as we moved there we saw a huge splash in the water! a Third whale was peduncle throwing a few meters away! Incredible! The whale continued to be very active showing off the pectoral fins and rolling!! We had an absolutely extraordinary sighting!! But as the whale calmed down and the wind as starting to increase we decided it was time to start our journey back to the harbour with a big smile in our faces.
