CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 09:00
Report from Eldey: While it is was quite windy and the sea had a bit of swell, the sun managed to peek through the clouds and warm our faces. We had another succesful morning as we saw no less than 5 humpback whales during our tour. First, we arrived in an area with 3 whales; a pair and a more elusive third whale were swimming around and so we focused our attention on the pair. We stayed with them for a bit but as the area got crowded quite quickly we went onwards to search more wildlife. the first individual we encountered was going on quite long dives but then another individual caught our eye. This whale turned out to be Neila! Our gentle humpback that has been visiting us for 7 summers now. She treated us to short dives and many flukes, leaving us with the perfect ending for our tour!
