CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 09:00
Report from Eldey: We set off with cloudy skies but incredibly calm seas this morning. It didn´t take us too long before we were accompanied by 2 harbour porpoises so this made us very excited about what else this morning could have in store for us. Not too long after, we found ourselves a humpback whale! This individual was an all too familiar face and a favourite among us guides, namely Davy Jones II! He was feeding and diving close to us multiple times and we got too spend plenty of quality time with this individual. Eventually we decided to give him some rest and moved on. Shortly after spotted a minke whale surfacing a couple of times. At this point it was time for us to start heading back, but not before we made another quick stop to say goodbye to Davy!

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00
Report from Eldey: We sailed out in a very calm sea with perfect conditions to find whales. We decided to check out the area where we were succesfull in the morning. On the way there an elusive minke whale appeared out of nowhere right in front of us. As it was pretty elusive we continued our search further out in the bay. We were succesfull. We found a humpback whale and we could stay with that individual for some time. It surfaced very close to our boat and showed us its fluke a few times. At one point it was also spyhopping which was very impressive to see. Within that region there were about 4 minke whales as well. On the way back already 2 harbour porpoises came up right in front of our boat as well.

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 17:00
Report from Eldey: We sailed out into a beautiful sunset and incredibly calm seas this evening. Not too far into the tour we spotted a pod of about 6 harbour porpoises around our boat, which was an amazing start of the evening! Later on, we also 2 Minke whales, one on each side of our boat. They did however disappear rather quickly so we continued to find the Humpback whale Davy Jones II again. He was however very sleepy this evening so we got to see him logging for some time until he woke up and treated us to a couple fluke dives! Eventually we moved on to find ourselves a third minke whale and then it was time to head back into port, but not before we spent a bit more time with Davy!
