Tour at 13:00
Report from Eldey and Elding: It was a very busy morning today, during the night we an abundance of snow that covered the cars and streets with at least 5 inchs of snow if not more in some places. The morning was spend clearing as much of the snow as possible before the passengers arrived. Also, we were very busy with lovely passengers today that we decided to split them all onto 2 boats for more comfort. Elding sailed first west then south towards the Reykjanes peninsula and Eldey went more north towards Akranes. The scenery was stunning with the snow covered mountain and the warm glow from the low lying sun. There was also a few seabirds flying past but not as many as we were hoping. The bay seemed bare and unfortunately no cetaceans (whales, dolphins and porpoises) we seen from either boat, thus we gave our passengers a complimentary ticket to come again for free in the next two years.
