Report from Eldey: We sailed out this morning on rough seas but under a sunny sky and with great hope to spot whales like the day before. Going through the large waves and heavy wind, everyone was eager for a sighting. Luckily, not too far from the coastline, our desire became true: a humpback whale blowing, coming to the surface several times, even getting very close to us and swimming in our direction. As all were enjoying the sighting of this individual, a minke whale passed by in the opposite direction, in the right side were everyone was looking ! Spotting our humpback friend one last time, we then stayed a bit in the area before starting sailing back to Reykjavik, still under the sun.
