Tour at 09:00

Report from Eldey: We knew our time on the bay would be limited today, as the forecast was predicting increasing wind and swell all day long. Therefore we wanted to make the most out of morning tour ! The sailing was enjoyable, specially if you compare it with the recent days, with relatively clam seas and pleasant temperatures while the wind was on our back. The pale grey colour of the sea was promising an easy spotting, sadly it took us a while to catch sight of a capricious minke whale that quickly vanished underwater. We stayed a long time trying to sight it again, but our search remained vained. We remained sharp and attentive all along our way back to the harbour, but no more cetaceans showed up, we then handed over complimentary tickets to our unlucky passengers.

Bird species seen on today's tour include: northern fulmar, common guillemot, herring gull, northern gannet, black-legged kittiwake and eider duck
