Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 13:00  Classic Whale Watching tours. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

Report from Eldey: Today as we set off the sun was shining and we had fantastic views all across the bay. There was not a cloud in sight. We sailed out and very quickly we saw our first cetacean. It was a harbour porpoise that came very close to the boat for a few surfaces. We carried on and saw many birds in the distance. As we got closer to the birds we saw a big blow in the middle of them. It was a humpback whale! We saw it surface a few times but it was taking long dives of over 10 minutes and during those dives it would swim a long way. So, we saw it come up a few different times but then we decided to look for other cetaceans within the many birds. Unfortunately we didn't see any so due to the humpback being elusive we gave out complimentary tickets.
