CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 09:00
Report from Eldey: It was a cold an windy, but beautiful morning as we went out. We spotted the blows of 2 humpback whales in the distance and were greeted with an enthusiastic tail slap on the surface as we approached. The whales seemed to be in a good mood and we were able to get close for some nice pictures. Swimming close and parallel to the boat, the two giants gave a good impression of their massive size. After a good time with them, we went for a bit of a cruise and saw some seals and a lot of different sea birds, like northern gannets, common eider and cormorant, just to name a few.

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 13:00
Report from Eldey: The sun shone bright in a clear sky while a moderate, cold wind blew our way. We sailed into calm seas in search of whales and found our favourite pair of humpback whales again. Banana and split were very busy feeding, going back and forth in an area full of fish, and surrounded by at least 6 grey seals feasting on the same buffet. We stuck around for quite some time, but eventually explored the bay further. We saw many big flocks of birds around, but sadly no more cetacean wildlife. This means we just cruised back, enjoying the final stretch of our tripping sipping on a cosy cup of hot chocolate.
