Report from Eldey: S-P-E-C-T-A-C-U-L-A-R tour. What an incredible tour we had this afternoon. The sea conditions were better and even though we had to sail a bit further to find cetaceans we were greatly rewarded. We found in total 5 humpbacks whale and 1 minke whale, but humpbacks were the main stars of the show. All of them were feeding really close to us and we could see their white flippers, lunge-feeding behaviour and some lob-tailing. But the cherry on the top of the cake happened when 4 humpbacks surfaced together while they were feeding, we were speechless! Lots of smiles on board and happy people made an incredible tour for Easter;

Report from Eldey: This was most likely the warmest day we have had this year. With almost no wind there was not really any need for overalls if you dressed well. Waves did cause our boat to truly make it feel like the ocean today, as the underswell was creating long and high waves. Fun for many of us and apparently also fun for the whales. It was a true underwater buffet today where we saw 2 humpback whales and 3 minke whales, all feeding, lunge feeding, coming to surface frequently and so wonderfully close to us. The special thing was that we just let our boat drift, not moving anywhere but rather watching the wildlife moving as it pleases. This is exactly how we want the experience to be, as true to beautiful nature as possible. Today we certainly achieved that.
