CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 09:00
Report from Eldey: The northern winds came, but the temperature went up. Out we went to find the pesky whales and after about half an hour of searching around the islands, we came across 2 humpback whales! Guess who they were, that's right, Banana and Split! These two are like two peas in a pot, always together. They were busy feeding on some fish at the surface, giving us fluke dives all the way. We stayed for a bit with them so they could greet everyone on board! After a while, we went away, trying to find some seals, but no luck there, the tide was high and there were no rocks where they could hang, so we went back home!

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 13:00
Report from Eldey: We sailed out in icelandic weather, windy but the sea was calm. We had to look for a while, but then we spotted a blow and then a second blow. We found our 2 humpback whales Banana and Split. They have been around for a few months now. We were spending as much time as possible with them, without disturbing them to much. The surfaced a lot and also came close a few times, so we could have a great view on them. Also they were showing us their beautiful flukes lots of times ! But after a while we left them and went to the island Viðey to see if we could have a look at the seals that hang around there. But only when we left 2 grey seals showed up and tried to get on rocks. The rocks were almost completely under water, so they had to fight for the best spot. What a great tour ! :)
