CLASSIC WHALE TOUR l 09:00
Report from Eldey: The weather was a wonderful Icelandic summer day. Rain, wind, sun and clear sky all within half an hour. The wind was blowing strong from the west and pushed quite some swell into the bay. We plowed out and searched for quite some time. Finally the blow of a humpback whale could be seen and we were able to witness a few fluke dives before we had to return back to the harbor in wonderful sunshine.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 11:00
Report from Hafsulan: The weather in Reykjavik was cloudy thought we sailed out and we found clear skies that made us exited for the day ahead. Lucky for us on our way out to the open waters we found some Atlantic puffins. Soon they will be gone for the winter. Not long after we spotted a blow in the distance and we went to investigate. The blow was coming for a humpback whale that was feeding in the area it was surfacing every few minutes and often close to our boat. We spent the rest of out time admiring this active individual and we started our way back with many nice memories to remember.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 15:00
Report from Hafsulan: The sun was really shining bright by now and, while still choppy, the sea had visibly started calming down after this morning's big waves. Riding the waves we went out and found a humpback whale, an individual that was feeding and was thus going back and forth, surfacing and diving often. Sometimes, with a fluke nice and high, sometimes without. After a good time we continued a bit more but even though we searched it seemed like we could not find any other signs of wildlife. We then decided to spend our remaining time with the same humpback before returning home, ending our sunny afternoon with a high!
