✔ CLASSIC WHALE TOUR ON SCHEDULE |  09:00

Report from Elding : This morning, if the sky was covered by clouds and the visibility not great, the sea was calm and it was pleasant to sail on the bay. We first met a group of 7-8 white beaked dolphins. We had a nice moment with them, with some nice jumps. We continued patrolling some good areas until we found 2 minke whales. There were hard to follow but we could see them surfacing a few time and even lunge-feeding near a flock of birds. We left to try to find something else and it was a good idea because we found a humpback whale. We recognize Tatoo, a very well known individuals. We stayed with it until we had to go back to Reykjavik.

✔ PREMIUM WHALE  AND PUFFIN TOUR ON SCHEDULE |  10:00

Report from Þrauma: Finally the weather had calmed enough for us to head out into the bay to do some whale watching. We first visited the puffins at Engey and then headed offshore. First we encountered a pod of 3-4 white-beaked dolphins that were quite elusive so we didn´t stay with them long but had a few nice looks before we left. Next was an awesome humpback whale that we know so well. Individual called Tattoo that we´ve known since 2016 and had over 90 different encounters. Tattoo seemed to be so relaxed around boats and surfaced just a few meters from us after a long dive. It's always great that the wildlife comes to us rather than us going to them.

✔ CLASSIC WHALE TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 13:00

Report from Elding : This afternoon's weather was very similar to this morning : cloudy but calm. We started directly looking for Tatoo, the humpback whale that we saw this morning. We could unfortunately not find it. During the search we found 4 minke whales. There were complicated to follow but we manage to see two quite well. We continued our tour more in the south until we found a very playful pod of 8-10 white beaked dolphin. They were swimming under the boat, bow riding, jumping. It was such a joyful moment.
