Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 9:00 and 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tour. Make sure to dress according to weather, as it is usually colder at sea than on land.
- CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 9:00
- CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00
CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 09:00
Report from Eldey: We had a beautiful morning ahead and it was ready to be explored to the maximum. Excellent weather, barely any wind, and no waves were in sight! We sailed to the middle of the bay in search of cetaceans, and not too far into the bay we spotted some splashes. We decided to investigate and there they were, a big pod of 15 to 20 white-beaked dolphins!! They came to greet us, and jumped around in awe, as we also watched them in awe! They even came to bow ride, and as we saw quickly, we were surrounded by them. We continued our tour further into the bay to try to find something else, but we only saw great landscapes! We got back to the harbour a bit cold but happy we saw awesome dolphins!

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING 1300
Report from Eldey: It was a very beautiful and sunny day! Pretty unusual for icelandic winters! As we know, sightings are never guaranteed because whales are very unpredictable animals! We sailed out full of hopes but unfortunately we did not find any wildlife besides seabirds! We gave out complimentary tickets for our passengers to try again!
