We started by sailing to the puffin Island Lundey in a bit calmer weather where we saw few puffins and many kittiwakes. After that we sailed further out in search for whales but unfortunately the bay was very empty or the white tops of the waves were making it difficult for us to spot the animals. The sunset was beautiful though and our passengers enjoyed the tour in spite of seeing no whales. Complementary tickets on the line! We started by going to the puffin Island Lundey where we saw few puffins and a lot of kittiwakes. After that we went out to Faxaflói bay and spotted a small group of Harbour Porpoises. They only came up once far away so we went further out. The wind suddenly picked up which made our ride an adventurous rollercoaster ride. A fun tour but hardly any whales so we gave our passengers complimentary tickets.

The weather was still nice when we headed out to Faxaflói. And again we founded the minke whales. And what a show! Surface feeding, rolling in the surface with their belly up and coming really close to the boat! Just absolutely amazing! We spotted some harbour porpoises as well, and all around us we had diving gannets! This was just incredible tour! Tour at 13:00
We sailed out to the whale watching area and spotted a small group of Harbour Porpoises that we spotted also later on. They weren't very curious about us so we went further out in search for Minke Whales. We found a couple and observed it for a while. When they started to avoid us, we went to another area with lots of seagulls and diving gannets. In this area we found 3 minke whales and one of them was a very cute calf. Those 3 whales were so relaxed, came up very close to the boat giving us a spectacular whale show! We ended the tour by going to Lundey where we saw bunch of puffins. Amazing tour with great atmosphere! Tour at 10:00 We visited Akurey to see the puffins in a beautiful weather. After the puffin island we headed out to find the whales. After a short time we found some very shy harbour porpoises, but they did not stay with us. Then a little later we saw a minke whale, and then another one, and another one, and wow they were so many there feeding very actively! This was just amazing and in a beautiful weather. A great tour! Birds seen on tour: Puffins, gannets, fulmars, guillemots Tour at 09:00: We started the tour by sailing to Akurey, the puffin island in a mirror flat sea. After seeing bunch of puffins on the sea in front of the Island, we went further out in search for whales. We spotted a couple of Harbour Porpoises just 12 minutes after leaving the puffin island and saw those 2 more times throughout the tour. The next species that we spotted was the White Beaked Dolphins passing through so we went a bit further out to spot Minke Whales, and so we did! We spotted around 10 Minke Whales throughout the tour, some of them coming extremely close to the boat and actively feeding on the surface. one of the minkes came up in front of the boat with his pink and white belly up and on the other side of the boat, there was a minke showing his fluke while surface feeding. What an amazing sight! Definitely on of our very best tours this summer: D
