Report from Hafsúlan:There was strong winds today, which will turning into a storm this evening. We sailed out from and back to Hafnafjörður to gain as much shelter from the land as possible. We were luckier today than the last week because we encountered two lovely pods of 3-4 white-beaked dolphins which seemed to be enjoying the swells. Both pods only stayed with us a short time but we got a nice close look at both as the surfaced just a couple meters from our boat, seeing them swim underwater is always a sight to see. The wind was getting strong by this point so we sailed towards the land again to have better sea conditions and sailed into the wind back towards the harbour where the buses were waiting to take passengers back to the city centre. Not the best day weather wise but good dolphins and many many seabirds.
