Today we will be operating our Classic Whale Watching on our lovely vessel Hafsúlan at 9:00 and 13:00. OurPremium Whale Watching departure times are 9 am, 12 pm and 3 pm.

Report from Hafsulan: We sailed out this morning into a very glossy and calm sea. Rumours of exciting sightings far out of the bay made us wait quite long before our goal. Across the numerous flocks of birds, we sighted 8 humpbacks whales, but the blows all around us made us imagine they could have been many more ! Several of them roamed around as soon enough, 3 pods of 20 white-beaked dolphins joined the group. In this amazing sighting of interspecies feeding, we almost missed out a minke whale passing behind us.  We have to leave this coveted spot, but not before 3 humpbacks paired up to follow us on our path home, finishing this amazing tour on a high note.

Report from Hafsulan: this afternoon we set sail with some sun and mild wind. We were hoping to repeat the success of this morning so we headed towards the same area. That was a great bet because as we got closer we could see a couple blows, 4-5 humpback whales! We were able to approach 2 of them and watch them for a while, relaxing in the water and occasionally lunge feeding. At one point they came super close to our bow and rolled across giving us incredible view on the whole animal very close to the surface.
