CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 1300
Report from Eldey: As we set out on the calm, sunny day it didn't take long to find our first sign of wildlife. A harbour seal was on the surface enjoy its lunch. We got to see it holding a fish in it's mouth. Not long after we found the humpback whale Flak. This was only about 20 minutes into the tour before we spotted the blow a few hundred metres away in the direction of Mount Esja. We got another fantastic sighting of this individual we have seen for about 2 months now. To begin with we had many great surfaces and some fluke dives which allowed us to confirm it was Flak. We then had some pec-slaps, tail slaps and penducle throws. This was so cool we got to see about 10 of these throws as the whale slammed it's tail into the water. This even gave us a chance to see the underside of the whale and confirm it is a female. After leaving the whale we then saw 4 harbour seals. On our way home we saw Flak again before heading into the harbour. What a nice tour :)
