CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 09:00
Report from Eldey: This morning we sailed out hoping to find some whales. The sun was shinning but we have a bit of wind and some swell. After 20 minutes of sailing we spotted a pod of white beaked dolphins! the group had about 5 individuals and they were resurfacing frequently under a small flock of birds! We stayed with them for a bit until they disappeared in the water and we decided to continue our sail! about half an hour later we had another sighting! A humpback whale! the saw the whale fluke in between the waves showing of it's tail and resurfacing super close to our boat! Eventually it was time to head back to the harbour as the time was running out.
