✔ TOUR ON SCHEDULE  | at 17:00

Report from Elding: The evening tour couldn't have been better as the sea state improve even more and when we left the harbour we encountered 2 minkes whales and 2 harbour porpoises. We were aiming to see more wildlife so we set sail towards the south of the bay and after a long search finally we got our reward, a humpback whale was spotted so we saw its powerful blow. After enjoying this animal for a while we headed back to the harbour in an incredible atmosphere as the sun rays were cutting through the clouds. The cherry on the top of the cake was our loyal couple of minke whales waiting for us at the entrance of the harbour, what a great way to finish the day!

Report from Elding: Faxafloi gave us again another wonderful day in which the sea state was simply beautiful and scenery breathtaking. As we were leaving the harbour we spotted 2 harbour porpoises and 2 minkes whales. Once we headed further out we discovered a blow in the distance and it was not other but our favorite species, a humpback whale! We saw the tail several times as we got closer and we enjoyed an amazing sighting with this gentle giant. In our way back to the harbour, we re-discovered the pair of minke whales we left behind at the begining of the tour making a perfect round tour.

✔ TOUR ON SCHEDULE  | at 9:00

Report from Elding: As we sailed out from the harbor, we saw that the weather was just perfect for a whale watching tour, the sea was very calm and there was no rain so the visibility was great! It took us about thirty minutes to reach a place where we spotted a minke whale! Unfortunately, this whale was quite elusive, and we could not get very close, so we decided to head further out. On our way we got a brief glimpse of about 3 harbor porpoises, and just a few moments later, a pod of about 5 white-beaked dolphins showed up! They were quite relaxed, swimming in front of us, and eventually moving to our side so we could take a nice look at them. After spending a while with the dolphins, we sailed away and found yet another species, a humpback whale! It showed us its beautiful tail flukes a few times and changed direction quite often, suggesting it was feeding! This was such an amazing tour, and we got the chance to see all of the most common species of cetaceans here in the bay!
