✔ TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 13:00

Report from Eldey: Our tour today gave everyone onboard a real icelandic experience! The wind was strong from the north east but that did not stop us in our search for the whales and dolphins. We were lucky to have our beautiful winter sun shining just above the horizon above Reykjavik and Reykjanes. The bay was so beautiful with the snowy mountain and amazing landscape around us. With this stunning surroundings we travelled along mount Esja and then we headed towards Akranes and passed the whale fjord, the wind picked up but with our warm overalls people were still standing oustide helping us in the search for the whales and dolphins. Unfourtanatly  there was no whales or dolphins found today so we ended our tour with offering everyone to come with us again for free within the next two years. Hopefully next time we have more luck!

Birds seen today: black-backed gull, eider ducks,  glaucus gull, great cormorent.

We are sailing from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík today. We are expecting it to be windy so the seas might be rough, if your are prone to sea sickness we have sea sickness tablets available at our ticket office. Make sure to dress warmly and make use of our warm overalls as it is always colder on sea than on land. For more information contact us by email elding@elding.is or by phone +354 519 5000.
