CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00
Report from Eldey: incredible tour for the second day of the year. It was warmer than the previous days, and that made it easier for everyone to be outside from the start. And as soon as we left the port the action started, because just west of Videy, we had the first sighting: it was the blow of a humpback whale! On getting closer we saw that there was a second one nearby. They were very active, social and visible. Their dives were not too long, and they circled around the boat plenty of times, giving us a few flukes. After some time we went to the other side of Videy, and we found a 3rd humpback. This one took longer dives, but it gave us a magnificent fluke dive just next to the boat. So we sighted a total of 3 humpbacks. We also saw plenty of harbour seals, and a small group of harbour porpoises next to Videy. It was a great tour.
