Report from Elding: The weather continued just as wonderful as this morning. Sunshine non-stop. With the ocean being nearly mirror flat and winds weak, spotting whales was so easy for a practiced eye. That said, once we returned to the harbour, we had seen 7 humpback whales, at least 6 minke whales as well as 2 pods of 3-4 harbour porpoises. And they definitely put ona show - best was clearly a mother humpback whale with her youngster who was practicing his tail-slapping skills and gaining strength. It was a full show and then, to our pleasure, both came within reach of the bow of our boat. The sun enabled us to see their entire bodys' silhouette and we were in awe at their size. Another 2 humpback whales decided to also tail slap and half breach while enjoying the amounts of fish that we could even see as dark spots in the water. An incredible day to be out and, most importantly, to be continued.

Report from Elding: Forecast for all day is incredible, with sunshine, no wind and almost 20C. Excited about weather we were bit surprised leaving harbour and sinking into a thick fog. Our visibility was limited for the first hour of the cruise but that didn´t stop us from having amazing time. Once everything cleared up we had beautiful views at mountains around, feeding birds and of course, whales too. We saw 3 humpback whales and around 5 minke whales. One of the humpbacks provided us with unforgettable experience: for good 20 minutes was slapping its flippers and tail and even jumped twice. And all of that with a Snæfellsjökull volcano as a background. During way back we also spotted our old friend - humpback named Tattoo and two pods of white beaked dolphins
