Tour at 13:00
Our afternoon tour was even better. There was no wind at all and everybody (especially the crew :-)) enjoyed the calm sea. This made it very easy to spot whales and we could catch sight of them from far away. We had several minke whales around and a particularly good one at the end of the tour. In between we watched a quite large group of white-beaked dolphins. They enjoyed swimming around the boat and liked to breach from time to time. A very nice day indeed!
Tour at 9:00
We had an extra tour this morning and lucky we did! After a few days of meager luck we had a very good tour today and super sightings. Quite far out we spotted some minke whales and a small but nice group of white-beaked dolphins. Towards the end of the tour we also saw two of the cute harbour porpoises. It seems that the whales are back from wherever they have been the last two weeks! Let's cross our fingers that it will keep on like this.
