Report from Eldey: It was absolutely perfect day! Flat sea, shining sun, stunning views and a whale! It takes around 30-40min till we found humpback whale just behind island Videy. We were watching this animal for a month but today it's behavior left us stunned. Maybe it was enjoying this beautiful weather? Humpback was staying long time on water surface and showing off. Many times was rising his head slightly above the water surface, swimming between boats and going for shallow dives. I took approach to feed by swimming in direction of flock of birds, then lunge feed once and start going for long dives. When we were waiting for this whale to return for our huge surprise his head and massive body appeared right next to our boat! But it was not the end of the revelations as later we had two more close encounters and one breach when it jumped! Perfect birthday gift for myself.
