✔ CLASSIC WHALE TOUR ON SCHEDULE |

Report from Elding: The sky was overcast and we had a light drizzle upon us when we set out from the harbour. The wind was pretty weak though so the sea was all right. Straight off the bat we found a humpback whale, which was extremely calm and stayed around the boat for a long time. It was probably sleeping or resting, but towards the end of our encounter it gave us a couple of beautiful fluke dives. Pretty close by we saw another humpback, but that one was on the move and we kept close to the original one. We observed it for almost 40 minutes and decided to let it sleep in peace. On the way back we went in zig-zags, trying to spot something, but had ti make the great humpback encounter do for this trip.

✔ CLASSIC WHALE TOUR ON SCHEDULE

Report from Elding: The wind had picked up from the morning tour but the drizzle had stopped. This made the waves larger but the stay outdoors more pleasurable without the rain. We marvelled at the beautiful bird life as our sea angling tour was close to the boat on the way out, which had apparently attracted all the birds! However, we had to be very patient while we waited to spot cetaceans in the bay. In the end, we found a humpback whale, which surfaced many times and kept close to the boat. Alongside it, there was a pod of about 5 white-beaked dolphins. That made for a good show, as the humpback clearly wanted no business with the dolphins and swayed around and slapped its tail a bit to try to shake them off.
