CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 0900
Report from Eldey: Well, today’s whale-watching trip was a bit of a mixed bag. We sailed out, and right from the start, the weather wasn’t exactly cooperating. There was a bit of swell, which made the boat rock more than usual, and some rain decided to join the party halfway through the tour. Not exactly what we were hoping for, but hey, that's nature for you, right? Despite the not-so-ideal conditions, I was keeping my eyes peeled. Toward the end of the tour, I caught a glimpse of a minke whale! It was super quick, though. I got to see it just once as it surfaced, and by the time I pointed it out, it had already disappeared back into the deep. Of course, it was a bit of a letdown since the passengers didn't get to see it, but I guess that’s the nature of the minkes—they are pretty elusive. To make up for it, we handed out complimentary tickets so everyone could come back and try their luck again. Hopefully, next time, the weather will be on our side and everyone will get a proper view!

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR I 13:00
Report from Eldey: Both the sea and wind had calmed down since this morning and the sun started to peak through the clouds. This time around it didn´t take us too long until we found ourselves a minke whale! We got to hang out with it for a nice, long time and seemingly unbothered by our presence, it surfaced multiple times very close to our boat! Eventually it was time for us to move on though and so we could end the afternoon with our whale itch feeling scratched.
