CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 09:00
Report from Eldey: We sailed out this afternoon into our beautiful Faxafloi. Not long after leaving the harbour we did spot 3 harbour porpoises. Throughout the whole tour we saw 10 more harbour porpoises but sadly no other species. This is sometimes how it goes with wildlife tours, the adventure and thrill of seeing animals in their natural habitat means that sometimes we are less lucky. We did enjoy the beautiful scenery instead and then at the end of the tour we handed out complimentary tickets to make sure everyone can come back and try their luck another day.

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 13:00
Report from Eldey: The clouds had parted enough for the sun t warm our faces as we sailed out in calm seas with he wind in our backs. It took s quite a long time this afternoon to spot signs of cetacean wildlife but eventually we did manage to find ourselves a minke whale! It was a tricky individual nevertheless and even though we got to spot it a couple times around us, we eventually had to move onwards, back to port. It is never a dull experience when we get to see a whale, but since this encounter was not up to par with the experience we do wanted to provide, we ended up handing out complimentary tickets to our passengers, so they can come back for a truly unforgetable experience.
