Report from Eldey: The wind had picked up this afternoon so we used the islands and mountains for shelter, the wildlife has been incredible the last months in these sheltered waters so we wanted to give it a more thorough search. We saw a few small flocks of birds, it was amazing to see the northern gannets plunge into the waters like a torpedo for their food. Later on it was a nice surprise to find a curious harbour seal popping its head out of the water. We tried to see it better but couldn´t find it again. We then went a little further offshore andgot a little caught out by the wind on the way back making it a more adventurous sailing home. It was however, alot of fun and beautiful to watch the waves splash up with the sun behind. 20 of our true viking passengers stayed up with me in this cold windy weather and enjoyed the ride whilst a few green faces below started to appear. We offered our passengers complimentary tickets to come again in the next two years, hope they have more success and calmer weathers on their next ocean elding adventure.

Report from Eldey: We started our search to the north and close in to Kollafjörður, a small fjord that we have been quite successful with the last few months, unfortunatly today was different and not much happening except for the sightings of interesting birds suck as the red-throated divers. We sailedand search in a big area and watched the sun rise over the mountains, the coloured it cast on the water and landscape was breathtaking. Unfortunately no whale or dolphins this morning so we offered our passengers complimentary tickets. Hope the afternoon tour will be more successful.
