Report from Elding: This morning the wind had picked up again so during the trip we battled through all the elements including sun, rain and hail. We travelled for about 1.5 hours into Hvalfjodur and then saw 2 blows close to a waterfall. There were 2 humpbacks! We saw both of them fluke but spent most of our time following one of the whales. This one even did 2 peduncle throws! During this sighting we also saw 2 harbour porpoises travelling between the big waves as well. After a great sighting we headed back to the harbour against the waves.
