Tour at 13:00
Report from Hafsúlan; The wind had picked up a little on this tour which it usually does in the afternoons giving the seas a bit more of a ripple. We sailed towards the same area as this morning and was surprised to find the White- Beaked Dolphins had come a lot closer. 15-20 individuals in total with a couple of calves with them. One calf (baby dolphin) came to play around the boat, looking up at passenegrs as it swam by. We left the dolphins after a while and went to look for the Minke Whales. We found one not to long after. The captain was great as we had the whale surfacing just meters from our boat on many occasions. By matching speed and direction of the whale we were able to follow in on the surface as it was swimming below so that each time it surfaced it wasn´t far from us giveing our passengers a great veiw of it. We watching two Minke Whales like this before heading back to land and stopping at puffin island to see the thousands of puffins which are breeding there. Wonderful end to a wonderful day.

Report from hafsúlan: What a perfect day to be out on the water, sun was shining, seas were flat calm and the wildife was abundant. We headed out to our favourite areas on the bay. We actually just stopped our boat and watch and listen to the animals feeding all around us. We saw at least 5-7 Minke Whales, 40-50 Harbour Porpoises and flocks of seabirds. Best way to enjoy nature. After a long while we headed a bit further offshore to see a third species of cetacean, White-beaked Dolphins (about 4 different pods of maybe 5-7 individuals in each) feeding under a flock of kittiwakes. The morning couldn´t get any better, but it did after a quick stop at puffin island at the end where thousands could be seen both on the island and sitting on the water. Wonderful start to the day.
Birds seen on today´s tours include; Gannets, Puffins, Guillemots, Fulmars, Kittiwakes, Arctic Terns, Greylag Geese, Eider Ducks, Black-backed Gulls,
