CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 09:00
Report from Hafsúlan: Today we started our tour with clear skies ahead of us and a very weak wind that made us unzip our jackets and enjoy the light summer breeze. On the way, going to the center of the bay, we spotted many flocks of seabirds and small fishing boats, indicating that we might be getting closer to a productive area. And there it was! We spotted a blow very far away, as the visibility was fantastic. We could even see Snæfellsjokull very clear. We got closer and... we had a humpback whale in the area! This humpie was very chill, going for shallow dives and when it showed the fluke going for a deep one, would not take over 2min to come back! We enjoyed it for a while, always admiring their white pectoral fins that we could see even through the surface. After, we started our way home since we were quite far out in the bay. Lovely morning!

Report from Hafsúlan: As soon as we set off this afternoon we were notified that there was something very exciting swimming in the waters nearby. We headed straight to the given direction and soon thereafter suddenly spotted a large black dorsal fin breaking the surface -it was a large male orca! We all got a close look of this beautiful individual as it was coming up for air while scouring the waters close to land. A slight drizzle came upon us, but everyone was out on deck full of admiration, because this is a sighting you just cannot miss. After a good amount of time we waved goodbye and sailed further out in the bay and were treated with the sight of a relaxed minke whale feeding in the distance. As it was time to head back to the harbour our spotting skills were sharp and we saw another minke whale slowly making its way through the waves. What a wonderful afternoon!!

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 17:00
Report from Hafsúlan : We sail out from Reykjavik port under sunny skies and calm seas, heading into the open waters. After a peaceful start, we encountered our first humpback whale. She was quite friendly and stayed with us for a good while, treating us to several fluke dives. But our luck didn´t stop there. Near Engey island we spotted two more humpback whales. They were particularly large and playful. We ended our magical day with an impressive peduncle throw.
