CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 09:00
Report from Eldey: This morning we once again had beautiful sunshine and sailed into faxafloi. There was a bit of swell as we reached further out. We spotted a few hectic flocks of birds and went to investiagate, a little further out we then spotted a big blow! We made our way over and low and behold found a humpback whale! This one fluked a few times but was quite random in its movement. While we were waiting to re-appear we also spotted a pod of 6 white beaked dolphins! This was a very calm pod heading towards the humpback. They were headed towards the humpback, which clearly had different ideas. This then came up behind us so we turned for a closer look. We did spot another blow in the distance and therefore decided to head that way...'twas another humpback whale! This one came quite close to the boat, so close that we could hear its blow! We watched on in awe until time was up and we had to head back to harbour.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR I 13:00
Report from Eldey: We sailed out with fairly calm seas and sunny skies. While we were cruising to the open waters we spotted one minke whale that stayed with us for few minutes and right after a humpback whale popped up. She stayed with us for multiple dives until we spotted 4-5 white beaked dolphins. They where really playful even diving under the boat few times! Not more than a mile away was another humpback whale that we cruised with until we saw an impressive fluke dive. On our way back we stayed with a minke whale for 3-5 dives and we let her happily continue her way and we set course to our port after and amazing day.
