Tour at 17:00

On this tour we almost could buy ice cream at the Keflavik airport because we had to go MUCH further out than we usually do because the bay was quite empty tonight, but it was worth it and after a long time sailing we spotted finally two Minke Whales at the same time and they came pretty close to the boat. it's always a good feeling to make our passengers happy at the end. Result - Happy ending!

The wind had picked up a bit when we headed out again this afternoon. After sailing for some time we spotted one white-beaked dolphin with a very small calf and it looked like they were all alone. We left them in peace and further away we spotted a big pod of white-beaked dolphins. This group was very nice, swimming beside the boat and all around us. On our way back we spotted one splash from a minke whale. This whale was quite difficult to follow, diving for along time and only surfacing a few times. In the same area we saw some harbour porpoises. And at Akurey we could spot many puffins. So all together very nice tour.
