  • CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 9:00, 13:00

Today's whale watching tours from Reykjavík are on schedule. Remember to dress according to weather and feel free to borrow our thermal overalls if needed!

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 09:00

Report from Eldey: We sailed out with barely any wind, calm seas and cloudy skies. We searched around for a good amount time but eventually we were rewarded with a humpback whale! We saw multiple beautiful fluke dives and it even surfaced very close to our boat! Satisfied with these sightings we sailed back to harbour, with the sun peaking through the clouds.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 1300

Report from Eldey: We set off in the rain but thankfully this stopped fairly quickly. After sailing nearly an hour we came across a wonderful spot full of wildlife. To start with we saw a pod of 5 white beaked dolphins! They kept popping up on both sides of the boat and coming close to us. Then not too far away there was also a humpback whale! This was a great whale, constantly fluking and even surfacing very near us. We got to see some big fluke prints on the water close to us as well. We then sailed back enjoying the nice weather.
