Status: RUNNING FROM ANOTHER HARBOUR
We will be sailing out from HAFNARFJÖRDUR today at 13:00 due to unfavourable conditions out of Reykjavík. A bus will be ready and waiting for passengers here in the Old Harbour and drive off to Hafnarfjördur at the scheduled departure time. Report from Eldey: The tour proceeded from Hafnafjördur today as there was a strong south westerly wind blowing which would have made leaving from Reykjavik uncomfortable. We sailed into the waves on the way out, meaning the ride was a little bumpy but very smooth on the return with the waves at our back. We searched a large area in order to find some cetaceans but we were unsuccessful in our attempt today. Complimentary tickets were therefore issued.
