✔ TOUR ON SCHEDULE | at 13:00

Report from Eldey: The wind picked up a bit during our afternoon trip but the views were even better as we could see Faxafloi and enjoy the surrounding area of Esja and Akrafjall. We headed to the same location where we were in the morning hoping to see some dolphins and indeed we found them. The pod, around 6-8 white-beaked dolphins, was more scattered and less interactive so we decided to leave them behind. Unfortunately, we couldn't find any more cetaceans, that's why we decided to offer complimentary tickets so everybody can return with us for free.

Report from Eldey: Sun! a rarity in Iceland. It was present during the whole tour but we also had to face strong winds from the north. We looked for shelter near the mountains of Esja and Akrafjall and we enjoyed beautiful views near Akraness. When we were about to give up, a nice pod of 6-8 white-beaked dolphins popped up, and they were very curious. There were few calves very interested in our boat and we could see them swimming around us, leaping and jumping while they gave us a very nice show. Mommies were around too and we were able to identify one of the adults from the group, in this case it was "Only Gabrielle", an individual which has been around the last days and it was first spotted back in 2008, what a record! The way back was delightful as we sailed with the waves.
